RGV banned for non-payment of dues to artistes and technicians

Bollywood director and producer Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has recently been accused of not paying dues amounting to around Rs 1 crore to artistes, technicians, and workers. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has decided that their 32 unions will never work with him in the future.
The FWICE alleged that RGV did not respond to a legal notice served to him or cleared dues. Earlier, a letter sent by the FWICE was received by Varma in September 2020. “We have decided not to work for the movie projects to be taken up by RGV in the future,” the FWICE stated.
