Hyderabad: Minister KTR to launch free water supply scheme today
HYDERABAD: Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) is going to launch the Free Water Supply scheme in Hyderabad today. According to the reports, Minister KTR will launch the scheme from Rehmath Nagar division under Jubilee Hills constituency. Free water supply scheme will provide 20,000 litres of water to every household under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
Officials said that free water supply will provide to houses in basis without installing water meters but apartments need to get meters to avail the scheme. Officials will charge for those who utilise more than 20,000 litres water. It is known that CM KCR promised Hyderabad people that the government will provide free water to every household in Hyderabad.
