Not aware of Pawan Kalyan approaching BJP top leaders for Tirupati seat: Somu Veerraju

AP BJP president Somu Veerraju on Tuesday said that he was not aware of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan approaching the BJP high command for fielding his party candidate to the Tirupati Lok Sabha byelection. He stated that the BJP and Jana Sena will discuss and finalise the name of the candidate for the Tirupati parliamentary constituency.
To a question, Veerraju mentioned that the BJP would fight in the byelection with development as an agenda. He confidently said that the development in Tirupati during the NDA rule will give the victory for the BJP in the bypoll. The TDP and YSRCP have no right to ask for votes in the Tirupati byelection, he added.
