Panchayat polls: CM reportedly tells party cadre to expose SEC’s agenda
State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has informed Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney that the State Election Commission (SEC) has powers to fix the date for holding elections to local bodies. He complained to Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan that the AP government is not cooperating with the SEC for conducting Panchayat elections.
Meanwhile, the AP government has decided to apprise the Governor regarding the coronavirus in the state. In a meeting with ministers, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reportedly informed the party leaders to expose the agenda of Nimmagadda Ramesh among the people.
