Bihar minister Mewalal Choudhary resigns three days after taking oath
PATNA: Mewalal Choudhary who was appointed as Bihar's education minister tendered his resignation three days after taking the oath amid corruption charges. Opposition parties raised questions over Bihar CM's Nithish Kumar's zero-tolerance policy on corruption mentioning the pending cases against Mewalal Choudary. Governor Phagu Chouhan accepted his resignation and Ashok Chaudary minister of states building construction department given the additional charges.
As per sources, CM Nithish Kumar asked him to quit the post. A video of Mewalal Choudhary is doing rounds of social media in which he has seen singing the national anthem with mistakes. Netizens expressing anger and trolling him.
