YouTuber ‘Local Boy’ Nani Arrested

Visakhapatnam-based popular YouTuber Vasupalli Nani, also known as ‘Local Boy’ Nani, has been arrested by cybercrime police for allegedly promoting online betting applications. Nani had been posting advertisements for these apps on his YouTube and Instagram accounts, claiming that users could earn high profits with minimal investment.

A local youth reportedly lost around ₹2 crore on online betting platforms such as Dafabet, Parimatch, Mahadevbook, and Rajabet. Following this, the individual filed a complaint with the cybercrime police against Nani for promoting these platforms.

Additionally, Telangana RTC MD Sajjanar also expressed strong disapproval of Nani’s activities and instructed the removal of his video content. With this matter brought to police attention, authorities arrested Nani on Saturday night and later remanded him to custody.
