Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao’s Key Remarks on Rythu Bharosa

Hyderabad: Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced that the state government intends to provide financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa scheme exclusively to cultivable land. To ensure precision in its implementation, the government plans to utilize satellite data. The minister made these remarks while conducting a review meeting on Rythu Bharosa at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Tummala Nageswara Rao stated that steps are underway to launch the Rythu Bharosa scheme from Sankranti. He emphasized the use of satellite data to achieve accuracy in the scheme’s execution. The minister noted that agricultural officials are currently gathering crop data village-wise based on survey numbers.

Tummala Nageswara Rao also mentioned that the names of active farmers are being registered by agriculture officials. Additionally, he highlighted the use of remote sensing data to identify the extent of cultivated land. In this context, the minister held discussions with representatives of companies capable of estimating agricultural acreage.
