Allu Arjun Still at Chanchalguda Jail Reception: Legal Formalities Delay Actor’s Release

Following a stampede incident during the premiere of Pushpa-2 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad's RTC Cross Roads, where a woman named Revathi tragically lost her life, police arrested actor Allu Arjun. After undergoing a medical examination at Gandhi Hospital, he was presented before the Nampally Court, which ordered a 14-day remand. Consequently, police transferred him to Chanchalguda Jail.

However, the Telangana High Court granted Allu Arjun interim bail valid for four weeks, offering a major relief to the actor. He is expected to be released shortly after completing the required legal formalities.

Currently, Allu Arjun remains at the reception counter of Chanchalguda Jail as the procedural steps related to the High Court’s orders are underway. Authorities estimate it may take another hour to finalize the necessary documentation. His release will follow after submitting a personal surety and handing over the relevant papers to the jail officials.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, and the producers of Pushpa-2 have also arrived at the jail premises.
