Allu Arjun Files Petition in High Court Over Sandhya Theatre Incident

Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun has approached the Telangana High Court seeking dismissal of the case filed against him in connection with the Sandhya Theatre incident at RTC Cross Roads, Hyderabad. The petition requests the court to quash the case registered at the local police station.

The incident occurred during the benefit show of "Pushpa-2," where a stampede at Sandhya Theatre led to the tragic death of a woman named Revathi and caused severe injuries to her son. Following a complaint from the victim’s family, the Chikkadpally police registered a case against Allu Arjun under sections BNS 105 and 118 of the law.

The police also registered a case against the theatre management, alleging failure to implement adequate security measures during the actor's arrival. As part of the investigation, three individuals were arrested in connection with the incident.

In response, Allu Arjun filed a petition in the High Court requesting the dismissal of the charges. Prior to this, the owner of Sandhya Theatre had also approached the court with a similar plea.
