Pushpa 2: Why Fans Can't Book Tickets at Prasads Multiplex Yet

The craze for Pushpa 2: The Rule is sweeping across the Telugu states. From last night's premiere shows, the movie has created a festive atmosphere at theaters, with Bunny's fans celebrating enthusiastically. Almost all theaters across Hyderabad are screening Pushpa 2, drawing huge crowds.

However, a notable exception is the renowned Prasads Multiplex in Hyderabad, where advance bookings for the film have yet to open. For the past four days, fans have been eagerly awaiting the chance to book tickets at Prasads, only to be left disappointed as bookings remain closed.

Why isn't Pushpa 2 playing at Prasads Multiplex?
Reports suggest that negotiations between Prasads Multiplex management and the production house, Mythri Movie Makers, are yet to conclude. Mythri Movie Makers reportedly demanded a higher revenue share from Prasads compared to other multiplex chains. Specifically, the producers proposed a 55% share of gross collections for distributors. While other multiplex chains like PVR, Cinepolis, and Asian Cinemas agreed to this percentage, Prasads Multiplex management insisted on limiting the share to 52%.

The standoff continues as Mythri Movie Makers are adamant about the extra 3%, while Prasads management is reluctant to concede. Sources indicate that Prasads is concerned about setting a precedent, fearing that agreeing to this demand may compel them to offer similar terms for future movies.
