NIA conduct raids in Telangana, AP
Hyderabad, September 18: National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been conducting raids in Telangana and AP since Saturday night to find out terror links. The raids are going on in Nizamabad and Bhainsa in Telangana and Kurnool, Guntur and Nellore in AP.
The NIA has intensified its investigation in Popular Front of India (PFI) case and searching the houses of those arrested and also those of the suspects.
The officials started raids since Sunday early morning at four areas in Nizamabad. They came to know that PFI is continuing its activities in the guise of karate training and legal awareness. PFI convener Shadullah and another two persons were arrested already.
The NIA sleuths took up investigation after receiving complaints about an organization in the name of PFI in Nizamabad district. They came to know that that the organization gave training to youth in anti-social activities in the name of providing karate training.
