Four missing fishermen found safe

Machilipatnam, July 8: Four fishermen, who were missing for the past six days, were found safe and reached Kothapalem beach near Amalapuram.
 
It should be noted here that V Chinna Mastan, R China Nancharaiah, CH Narasimha Rao and M Venkateswar Rao of Campbell Peta village, Karagraharam panchaya of Bandar mandal ventured into the sea on July 2 and went missing. Disaster Management, Marine and Fisheries Departments personnel searched for them with the help of helicopter and Dornier but of no use.
 
On Thursday morning, the missing fishermen send message that they were safe at Kothapalem of East Godavari district. 
 
The officials brought them back and conducted health tests at a primary health centre. Later, they were returned to their native village on Thursday night. 
 
The fishermen said that the engine of their boat was damaged after water entered into it and their boat got drifted towards a different direction, they said.
