Sarva Darshanam within one and half hour

Tirumala, June 10: Good news to Lord Balaji devotees. Now they can have lord darshan within one and half hour. 
 
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) EO Dharma Reddy said that they are taking all steps to avoid any inconvenience to the devotees, who visit Tirumala. Steps were taken to provide darshan to the common devotees within one and half hour, he informed and added that devotees can book tickets for various services including darshan through online. 
 
The EO said TTD received Rs 1,500 crore donations in two and half years. He said that they are depositing the Hundi income in banks without diverting it to other works. ‘We are taking action to remove broker system in Tirumala.’ Repair works of 4,500 rooms in Tirumala are completed and works of 7,500 rooms are going on.
 
The EO informed that they are not allowing recommendation letters for VIP break darshan on Friday, Saturday and Sunday except protocol.
 
Meanwhile, Tirupati police arrested Babloo alias Prithwi Raj, who attacked TTD employee Venkataratnam. 
 
Bablloo behaved rudely with TTD staff regarding a room in Tirumala and attacked senior officer Venkataratnam. Following a complaint by Venkataratnam, police filed a case and arrested Babloo.
