Man kills wife, stuff body in drum
Hyderabad, June 7: Just a few days after a woman’s body was found in a suitcase, a body of another woman was found in a water drum after cut into two pieces. The incident took place in Jubilee Hill Thana limits.
Saroja used to work in a mall in Kothaguda and met Anil, who is a flower decorator. Both fell in love and married nine months ago and living in Chandrabose Nagar of Rahmath Nagar. Some time ago, Saroja came to know that her husband was already married with four children. Since then, there were disputes between the couple.
Saroja called her parents on June 1 and told them that Anil severely beaten her. Mudavath Bhimudu, her father called Saroja on June 2 and went to her house when she didn’t lift his call. They found the house locked and reported to police.
They went again to her house on Monday, broke the lock and informed the police about foul smell in the house. Police found out Saroja’s body in a water drum. Police said that Anil beat his wife with a dumbbell to death, cut the body into two pieces and stuffed in a drum and escaped. Anil surrendered to police on Monday night.
Police informed that Anil married his lover Anitha in 2009 and started harassing her for more dowry after having four children. On May 30, 2020, he killed his wife by beating her with a water heater. He was sent for remand and released one year ago.
